Obtained his MBBS from Vinoba Bhava University, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, India and his MS in Orthopaedic from B P Koirala institute of health Science, Dharan, Nepal and worked as an Assistant Professor at same institute. Afterwards, he completed a fellowship in hand surgery from Gent university hospital, Belgium. He became am AO Spine fellow from Hong Kong and Australia, furthermore he received training in AO Scoliosis surgery from Kerala and Hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery from Ganga hospital, India. As an Orthopaedic and spine surgeon, he has over 18 years of experience in Belgium, Hong Kong, Australia, Nepal, Bangladesh and India. In spine surgery adept in dealing with spinal deformity surgeries, revision spine surgeries, minimally invasive spine surgeries, Artificial Disc replacements, complex spine surgeries, spinal tumours surgeries, interventional pain managements. Number of key surgeries/procedures: more than 3500 spinal surgeries performed till march 2020. Instead of spine surgeries he does complex trauma, revision trauma surgeries, joint replacement and arthritic pain management. He has a comprehensive experience in providing leadership for management of research and consultancy activities pertaining to surgical methods on orthopaedics. Recently, he is awarded by the Apollo Hospital Education and Research Foundation (AHERF) on recommendation of the board of Governor as an Honorary Adjunct title of Associate professor at New Delhi, India. Before coming to Patna, he worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Spine surgeon at Apollo Reach Hospitals (a Unit of Apollo Hospitals Ltd.) at Karimnagar, Telangana, India from 1st Sept. 2008 to 25th Feb 2014 and Apollo Hospital, Dhaka from 6th March 2014 to 28th Feb. 2018.
