Cervical Myelopathy is a common degenerative condition caused by compression on the spinal cord that is characterized by clumsiness in hands and gait imbalance. Myelopathy describes any neurologic symptoms related to the spinal cord and is a serious condition. If untreated, this can lead to significant and permanent nerve damage. Treatment is typically operative as the condition is progressive.
